We have a francise Radio Shack store here, and for a while they had a sign
above the door "Locally owned since 1978 and we're here to stay"

But several years ago I was blown away when I went in there and told
the woman I needed a BNC connector.  And she replied, "RG-58 or RG-59?"

More recently I was in there - had a bad electrolytic capacitor and was
hoping to find something that would be a reasonable substitute.  And
they had an excellent selection!  Even found an exact replacement for
the one I needed to replace.

So sure hope the local owners have figured out a formula for success.
