[GreenKeys] Unshift On Shapce

On my Model 15 and 19 machines, I have added a tiny "temporary" linkage that connects to the unshift-on-space selector lever under the function lever frame, so that it is easy for me to choose which mode I prefer. Most of the time it is "on" so that QRM or QRN will have less effect on printed text. I also still use the MARS end of line protocol CR CR LF LTRS. The two CRs are to allow sufficient time for weak-spring machines to get the carriage all the way back to the left.
The preceding post about using Fig after space when typing figures is an excellent idea and even with unshift-on-space enabled on my machines I am careful to always type Ltrs when returning from figures shift.
Does anyone on the list happen to know if there is a "European" protocol for figs/ltrs or end of line?
