3/8-24 UNF (fine) may be it.. do not have a ruler  here    and  get 
crouched inn my recliner  with a headache and  do not  feel like getting  up... 
doubtful  if  I could focus my   eyes  to  count  fine threads   tonote anyway.
 
I  will pursue it   tomorrow  small  ace  hardware  had  them... home  
depot  had NO FINE screws in  this  dia.
 
it  was  funny  bought  screws  that   fit  did not mark  down  size nor do

of thread per inch (or 1/2 inch) should be 24 or 12  respectively. 

those wheels I  got  for my western union model 19  i just have the  ship
doc  here  with the size. this  shaft needs   finer threads  to  work.

This  isn't rocket science, this is simple nuts and bolts. Literally.
And if you  don't want to be bothered with complicated things like rulers,
