[GreenKeys] 33ASR Intermittent Double Linefeed

I should qualify my input:  My 33 is sprocket feed and has a substantially different LF mechanism than the friction feed 33.

There are several possible causes, but most likely the LF function pawl is not getting stripped from the LF function lever after the intended LF. When the next character comes in (1 in your example), the LF pawl is still engaged, so a LF occurs again.
As a first step, I'd clean and then lube the points at which the LF function pawl (vertical piece) engages with the LF fuction lever (horizontal piece).

It will do it in LINE and LOCAL mode.   It happens fairly infrequently, but is certainly annoying when it does.  Since most all the time a linefeed is preceded by a carriage return, what results is the first character on the line is printed, then the extra linefeed occurs, and the second character prints one space over on a new line, e.g.:  1  2(Assuming the sequence received was RETURN, LINEFEED,1,2).  What’s happening is RETURN, LINEFEED, 1, (extra)LINEFEED, 2.  Is the LINEFEED detector in the stunt box perhaps sticky?  If so, any recommendations as to what to do to remedy this situation?
