I have a few rolls of “yellow” paper that are like the Dead Sea Scrolls. They
crumble in your fingers…

One last paper thing. Stay away from 2 or 3 ply as you are only getting half or one third as much paper.

Wayne said it .. just in case you want to gamble
Free .. about 1/2 short ton of of (once) white 2 part teleprinter rolls
The once is key .. same place I got the 35 ASR from.
Single part does burn pretty well in the fireplace. a good 50 rolls to go :)

Also, don't buy any paper that doesn't look somewhat fresh. White always seems to be the freshest. If its yellow, it should be yellow, not brown. Lots of brittle paper around.

I'm not certain, I think the 35 uses the same ribbon though. The ribbon in the 33 is the most common ribbon ever and still produced.
It was a common typewriter ribbon.
You can get them at Staples still.
Since nobody at my local staples could tell me for certain that the "One In Stock" actually was in stock, I just ordered one off eBay for $5.95
shipped.
For paper, the rolls are still made, but only in white that I have found. 7.5" wide roll with the right size center hole diameter.
Searching "Teletype Paper" ought to turn it up - just be sure you check the dims, there's some goober on ebay selling "Teletype Rolls" of 4" width,
those are cash register rolls for dot matrix registers.
cheers,
j
