I strongly strongly strongly prefer plain text E-mail and detest HTML attachments.  With plain text, I control the size of the text.  With HTML, the sender controls it and their preferences have nothing at all to do with the limitations of my eyesight.  Microsoft feels differently and tries to force people using Outlook to HTMLize their e-mail.  If it weren't for e-mail systems that prevent plain text, I would be bouncing all HTMLized e-mail into my junkpile or returning it to sender.
