It appears that not all TT-30/AGA-1 machines have the 26 volt motor-generator and 35L6 motor control.  I have a TT-30/AGA-1 with a governed motor which is marked:

Volts:  115
Cycles: 60/DC

The machine is unused and unmodified, and has no 35L6.  The name plate, however is marked "26 Volts DC”

This machine came from the collection of a retired Navy communications officer, and that may be a clue as to the difference.

Go figure!
