Jim,
Sounds like you are describing the TT-30/AGA-1. (see Ed #'s site for
more info). It is a M31 with 26 VDC motor-generator & 35L6GT motor
control. It has M15 type transmitting contacts with an extra contact
that closes for every contact - it is the "type-to-talk" switch! We
have one at the AWA Museum (probably a prototype from the Teletype Corp
Museum.)
Was there another version of the DC M31/TT-30?
