My primary "go to" for stuff is mouser.com.
Occasionally I hit digikey.com for stuff mouser doesn't carry.

Then there's the usual suspects that sell "surplus" stuff, like  All
Electronics in Van Nuys, California. And Marlin P Jones.
Of course, eBay is a good source for stuff and the Chinese version
called Aliexpress.com
