[GreenKeys] Carriage return strap M 15

My Model 15 carriage return strap has snapped into and now I'm facing the possibility of having to make one, short of finding an existing strap from a junkered machine.

The question is how? What came out of the machine was a partial strap..about 8 inches long..with an eyelet on one end and the tear on the other end. 

Although I would prefer to find one that is complete and ready to install, I must accept the reality that this possibility is remote.
