[GreenKeys] Rubber Renue

Someone on the classiccmp list has suggested using this for renewing the
platen on a Model 33. Has anyone here done this?

 

Mine is sprocket feed, would it make much difference? The platen does feel
quite hard, but I don't have anything to compare it with to say if it really
needs renewing.
