Here's my call on a getting a 33 for your PDP.
Since you have a 43 just be patient a 33 should show up for much less.
Watch Craigslist, use one of the CL search site, that will help you
increase the radius up to your driving limits. Any local Ham clubs that
have classifieds ?
The 35 ASR came from being alerted by a GK member, it was on CL. The 35 KSR
was on a ham radio site that has classifieds, again alerted by a GK'er.
I know of one 33 that went to the dump because the widow that had it, did
not know it was worth anything, I was one week too late. It was in a garage
sale.
I have two 33's one from Goodwill for $25, is is locked up but I've never
done anything with it, and another from CL, $100.
Time frame .. about 3 maybe 4 years.
