It seems to me that the ASR33 machines that were designed for TWX service
go cheap, while those that have special wiring to work with computers have
high asking prices.  If you could find a plain private-line ASR33 it would
not take much work to change the wiring to work with a computer - it's
basically adding a relay to allow the computer to control the tape reader.
It's a bit more work to undo the complexity of a TWX machine so it can be
useful for anything.
