I tried to send this earlier and it also bounced like some others had
problems with today.
The copying of only KNX Sounds like my own experience with WUFO 1080 AM
in Buffalo. They were/are a 1 kW daytime station but their transmitter
was about 1000 ft behind our house. I grew up to the glow of their
beacon lights every night. But is also meant every radio experiment, or
any electronics project involving audio for that matter, had 1080 AM in
it. I was amazed with my first crystal set to copy all sorts of
stations late at night after WUFO had signed off since during the day it
was all I could receive.
Alas, WUFO just pulled down that tower and have colocated, I believe,
with another station. Times change.
