FWIW
My dad purchased this PCB, back in the day , from Hobby World Electronics in Northridge, California. It’s still in the bag. I imaged both side of the PCB. The schematic is straightforward with probably the most difficult part being building or obtaining the plus and minus 12v supply. http://retrowagon.org/wiki/index.php/20ma_current_loop_to_RS-232_conversion
This conversion from deRamp designed for the Teletype Model 33 reportedly uses near 0 level for the minus. http://altairclone.com/teletype.htm I bought the parts, but haven’t built it yet as I’m still trying to get my KSR working in local mode.
