Jim,
I see you have a gmail address now. I have run into a “feature” of gmail that you may not know about:
I was puzzled when I did not see from the list server the posts that I had made and knew were received by other list members.
Briefly, the gmail system will decide to NOT send to you a mail list generated copy of the message you post to the list. In some mail list systems, you get a chance to set the list server to send or to not send to you copies of what you post. The gmail situation is different, in that you don’t have a choice about whether gmail sends you the message that was sent to you by the list server. The gmail system (Google) is reading your emails and making decisions about them that you can not control.
I may have further details about this if you are interested: I’d need to dig them out of earlier exchanges on this or another mail list.

PS: there has developed a big fuss about Windows 10 and how it by default shares information and passwords of yours among other users and companies. If you have or are going to upgrade to Windows 10, you may want to look into this. You can turn off some of these “features” but you need to know how. There may be other personal security “features” that you cannot control but I don’t know about that.
