The Mainline TT/L demodulator was designed by Irv Hoff, W6FFC.
It was published in the August 1965 edition of QST.

By the way, the "tuning indicator" was a 6FG6/EM84. Two light blue
vertical bars that would come together in the middle. It was a popular
tuning indicator for FM tuners at the time.
The loop was directly keyed with a 6W6 pentode.
Transmit was via FSK on the transmitter.
