What's really missing is the paper handling assembly/

parts in the base. The black box is probably a

"wave shaper" and the blocks are screw terminals.

But, great price! I'll sell mine for only $1,000.

Subject: [GreenKeys] M26KSR on Ebay...

Hi all!

There is currently on Ebay, a M26KSR listed on the

first page of the "Teletype" listings...It is listed at an

astronomical price of $2,500USD!

The printer isn't. of interest to me as I have a 26 & table

which I am in the process of restoring...It is an on-going process...

In the listing, there is a video presentation (Link) which

shows the printer in "Operation", actually, it is

"Running open"...

The video is of particular interest to me as it shows the

complete interior of the M26 table....

It shows the complete Bell wiring & all thats supposed to be

there...

Sadly, my table has been completely "Gutted" out, and I am

in search for the missing components to make it as

original as possible...

Inside the table on the left side, there is clearly visible

a black box with a few wire leads entering...Can one of you

M26 guys identify what this box is, and what it does?

Also, there are four black connecting blocks with metal

covers on them mounted on the inside back of the table...

What mite these be, so I can try and locate a set of them?

Wud really appreciate some of you guys having a look

at the video, and pass on any helpful info...

Thanks & cheers!
