Besides Les V the best person in the area you live is Wayne Durkee, in
Vermont. He restores 32s and 33s for keeping his bills paid.
Wayne also helps others. At the present time he is on a trip to Oklahoma
but will return on April 17 if my memory serves.
I have a Model 33 textbook from Ohio Bell that I can either scan or make a
copy and mail it to you.
The book is not large and was used to train techs back in the 70s. It is a
bit less complicated than the actual Teletype manuals.
You could call me on the phone if you need an audio overview of how the
machine operates and what does what.
Let me know.

P.S. The bit about "It is made by Mattell and so it is swell." was what we
used to tell customers that used a M33 for heavy duty applications.
These folks really needed a M35 and some times the wear was so bad we would
replace the entire 33ASR.
The one I remember the most was at a math class at the Barrington, IL High
School. In use before, during, and after school and weekends.
Kids trying to learn programming
they would often pound on various parts of
the machine if the shared computer was slow or their solution was
incorrect..

condition. The process confounds my attempts. Is there anyone who would do
that, or teach me how, for a reasonable fee? Preferably in the northeastern
USA (I'm in Boston).
