It shows the two aluminum tags, one saying Western Union
(goes on the right) and a matching tag with a slot in it
that goes opposite it.  They're loose and in bad shape,
lying inside the case.

I doubt it is RTTY equipment.  I strongly suspect it of
being landline TTY equipment.
