All mechanical teleprinters / teletypes are becoming rare so it is
difficult to estimate value. Some dealers are asking really silly
prices. Watch some of the posts on this list for comments. Ultimately as
the saying goes ' the value is the price someone is willing to pay for
it'; one could add 'even if the buyer is a mug'.
The good news is that soft copies of the manuals are available if you
wanted to refurbish it.
As far as the fungus treatment is concerned, this is used mainly for
equipment to be used in the tropics. It is unlikely that an existing
machine would be fungus treated so my guess is that January 1945 is the
approximate manufacturing date.
Don't send it to landfill, someone will want it.
