Oh no indeed. I am on a couple of lists where the default is "reply all" and any posts are swamped with worthless " me too" and "by the way how's that lawn mower working out", etc.
Much much nicer to reply only to the poster unless you decide it is worth the entire group's time. Please don't change the greenkeys default...and if you don't know how to reply-all, please learn. 
Yes I know how to use the DEL key (ever since the days when my email address had ! Instead of @)
