Corey! Hopefully there is someone watching that can help with this!

I asked that a while back too to see if someone had a timeline of
serial numbers back when we got our UPI machine for the museum. did
not seem to be (at that time) someone that held that information.

Most other groups that collect various cars and machinery general
strive to establish a timeline of production.. this needs to be done
for teletype machines too.

Even if the master record is gone.... there will always be something
with a serial # that will at least give an age marker to groups of
serial numbers I would think. Somehow this information needs to be compiled.

Greetings GreenKeys list readers,

I've been lurking on the list for a few years, and was wondering if its
possible to determine
the manufacture year of a Model 15-KSR by serial #. I realize that they
were produced for 33 years which
is incredible. I picked one up today to add to my collection, and it's in
such amazing
shape that I can't help believe it is either a later model, or could be
older and simply
received little to no use. I haven't seen (or noticed) anyone discuss
this, and a search through
my email was fruitless. Any help would be appreciated.

Corey
