Did anyone else snag one of these paper winders? I admit I was lucky to get
one within a dollar or two of Nick's 'offer'. Imagine my surprise when it
showed up within 48 hours very well packed, but non-functional. Not a big
deal, I thought, and proceeded to remove the motor-end cover.
Surprise! There was no mercury in the mercury tilt switch! On closer
inspection, the very end of the tip was broken off and the mercury was long
gone. How the heck does that happen? Anyhow, I have a bag of mercury
switches around here somewhere to substitute, but wondered if I was alone
in this discovery. -Cory
