Hi to the group.
Steve N4TTY has been helping me with my KleinSchmidt TT100g and thought it might be helpful to others that in the future work on one of these to see some of the feedback regarding problems I am having with it so if they have similar problems they would have some reference points.
Below is a question I sent to Steve and he has asked if it was when it was under power or by hand and my answer is under power. Open to any thoughts?
I have been having the problem of the function selecting arm not always landing in the same spot and sometimes moving slightly when for example I keep pushing the bell key while in uppercase.

I have been carefully checking to see how the function shaft locks after a cycle and see that the clutch latch seems to be what the shaft should come to rest on.

I have noticed that it does not come all the way to the latch but rests on the roller most times that is part of the clutch latch.

Obviously there is something that is telling the shaft to stop just a bit early. If possible can you give me a suggestion as to what tells the function shaft to stop turning a bit early?

Should the function shaft always come to rest on the clutch latch metal or do they just stop on the roller?

I notice that I can turn the function shaft after it has stopped turning to bring it to the metal of the latch so I assume it is supposed to come to rest at the metal latch of the clutch latch but wanted to be sure before I start trying to figure out why it isn't.

Thanks to Steve and the group for any input and maybe I will figure what to adjust.
