[GreenKeys] OT - Hal made receivers?

If I remember correctly, the Hal HFC-1000s were not receivers at all,
but rather were training aids in the use of the Racal RA6790GM receiver
in various intercept operations. Several HFC-1000s, essentially an
RA6790 GM simulator designed to look and operate like the actual Racal
receiver, were connected to a central training console operated by
instructors who sent simulated signals to the student "workstations",
and observed the student's actions as they operated the simulated
receivers.
