>From first hand experience I know about the persistent devastating personal
effects of a burglary. We were living in Milwaukee at the time but I
suspect that there are a lot of Police Departments who have similar
programs to help such victims. Just ask! An officer came to our home and
walked us through making suggestions that would make another burglary much
more difficult! As a result many changes were made. Never doubt that law
enforcement folks do know a lot about such things! But I will say that none
of my teletype machines were taken---too much weight!
