That's for a 28KTR (keyboard typing reperf) or a 28 tape printer (28KTP?).
It sits on a standard Model 28 KSR keyboard base. The base uses a casting
to interface to the reperf/tape printer.

Subject: [GreenKeys] TTY cover needs ID (and a new home!)
At some point over the last couple years I acquired a new old-stock metal
cover for some sort of teletype equipment. Not sure what, but it appears to
have been far a punch with keyboard, best I can tell.
See:
http://jptronics.org/pix/tty_cover/
It's unfinished/primed and unused. It's also a little bit nasty--will need
some cleaning and maybe another coat of primer for the rusty bits.
Can anyone ID this thing? And, if you need it, it's yours for shipping, or
I could haul it up to a hamfest (e.g., Richmond Frostfest in February) for
you!
