I read the artical and see what he is doing, but do not see the point of it.
In the 70's and 80s' 73 Mag did have lots of good articals, especially for
rtty. I subscribed to it from about 1977 to they quit. I really hated that
they quit. Lots of good construction articals for rtty, computers and a few
other things that are not usually covered in some of the others. Ham Radio
was another good magazine during that time for technical articals.
I don't recall where I found them, but they are on the internet in PDF
format. Popular Electronics is also, but I have not downloaded it. Started
reading that magazine around 1960 when I was 10.
