[GreenKeys] Electrical Cords and Storage RReels

This issue goes beyond extension cords on reels.  If you read the Electrical Code you will note that if you put more than a certain number of wires in a conduit you have to derate their current carrying ability.  In the same way if you bundle standard NM type house wiring for more than a certain length you have to derate it also.  This is a heat issue.

Also don't forget that wire insulation is rated for maximum temperature use.
