Doug,

You have an early version of a 33 Teletype.  It had a cast base in three parts.  The tape reader base has broken off from the main section.  If you can take the cover off the 33 and the tape reader you may be able to reattach the TR base of you may need another TR base.  

I dont have any 33 bases at all in the shop now, not even the newer one piece ones.  I actually have a 32 ASR on a plywood base to use on ham radio RTTY.  

Someone on Greenkeys may have the base part you need.
