There  was also an attempt to get the price new  down on these  too  for 
the Deaf  Community....as teletypes were not just a  hobby for  them.... it  
was communications  survival....   There was also at  a point  when the used  
units were kind  of  scarce a pretty heated  competition  for  these  used  
units  between the Deaf  community and the  radio  folk...
