Howard,
thanks for adding about the military monitors of the two wire services.
I was not suggesting there aren't for-real legit uncut original transmission
copies of the news that day, but I'd also submit full legit un cut copies could not
number more than perhaps a hundred or so. I'd just be surprised if there were
more than that number.
I think we'd agree the vast majority of copies sold today were not actually
printed that day in November, 1963.

I was in the military and working with Post Signal at Fort Polk, La when that occurred. We had a couple of Mod 28s running - one on AP and the other on UPI. I had nearly a whole role of paper off one of them when the story unfolded. I had it for many years and may still have it here somewhere; however, I haven't seen it in years.
I knew other military operators that had the same thing. It is not too remote an idea to think there are legitimate copies out there.
But I doubt very seriously that the copies being sold on Ebay are legitimate.
If I could find the copy I had, I don't know of anyway to validate it other than my word which isn't worth anything.
