it is 100 percent easier....
and with so many tests and locations
around the valley oh so convenient!
and for those of us that are code dyslectic..
The fast it is now longer a requirement is good.
if it had been this way when I was a kid
I would have had my general in 6th grade
Finally Glad I got one!.

Thanks all:
Even though I am happy to have passed, I can't help but think that it must
be much easier than it was a few years ago, before testing web sites
existed and back when morse code was required. I truly applaud folks that went
through what must have been a very rigorous test not-too-many-years-ago --
back when you probably needed to be mentored by a real ham in a real shack
to get an appreciation for the equipment, the practice, the electronics,
and the understanding of all aspects related to running a station. And you
really had to know your dit.
My hat is off to you old-school fellows,
gil
