Hello Folks
At the local computer museum in Buenos Aires, we will be working this year in making a replica of the Ferranti Mercury computer that more than 50 years ago was brought from England.
What a beauty...

We are aiming at recreating the console, with the I/O so people can get the look and feel of it. You know... to get the kids back home with a little paper tape and a smile.
This early computer came with the following:
- Creed 54 Teletypewriter
- Creed 6S/5 Tape reader (2 of them)
- Creed 25 Tape perforator
The fact is that nothing of that was left, god knows in what dumpster ended up almost 40 years ago... actually not much more than the desk was left...
And here in Argentina, everything was Siemens, so for sure we will not find a Creed not even by chance.
If any of you has an extra reader or puncher, and can give us a hand please get in contact with me, any help is appreciated.
The teleprinter itself is probably not an option due to the monstrous size and weight, but in any case, let me know.
Regards to you all!
