Hello all.

I've finally foud time to take a closer look at the machine. it's a 16" 
carriage SFD for edge-punched cards. there are two connectors in the 
sockets on the right, but no cable comes out.

whilst reading the documentation from bitsavers i noticed that it is 
missing its papertape roll holder on the back. or was that a option?

if i push the tapefeed button, the tape gets perforated with not only 
the feedpin holes, but almost all other holes as well. it seems it is 
missing some holes. also the machine locks up when sending a f or g. i 
read about the parity switches connected to the punchbars so i think the 
lockup is a result of not punching the right holes. unfortunately the 
extnsive documentation on bitsavers does not include information about 
the relais and where to look. there are 18 relais under the hood. :-(

I remember seeing a piece of papertape with just the feedholes near the 
start of the tape. how would you proceed to get just that or is it even 
possible with this machine?
