Burstein-Applebee. I used to do a lot of my parts business with them,
since they had a nice catalog with all the regular stuff in the front,
and then the back section was bargains.
The company was bought by Walt Nettles, a ham and big RTTY guy who
first lived in Colorado and later moved to Tucson and was W7ARS.
And then he died, and perhaps that was what led to the death of the
company.
Then there was Olson Radio, which mostly sold junky stuff.
