Subject: [GreenKeys] Need Information
I'm looking for some answers on how to insert call sign ID when
transmitting RTTY. My Hal 5000 modem has a CW ID pin on the plug-in socket in back
of unit, but in the normal idle state modem unit is sending 2125 Hz and when
I use a key one side to CW ID pin other side of key to return grd of
unit, and operate key it sends out the 2025 HZ tone. My next question I have,
does the ID have to be CW or can I use the TTY to identify my call sign.
Any Information would be helpful to me.
