Hi all -

Just wanted to post some kudos for HAL Communications.  I bought an old 
ST-5000 on steal-bay that didn't come with a manual.  I emailed HAL this 
morning and this afternoon, I got an email from their gm (Joe Wittmer) 
with a pdf of the complete manual this afternoon.  I expected that it 
might not be available, or, that I'd have to pay for it, but he sent it 
to me gratis.  Actually, I was happy to receive any response at all, 
much less such a quick one.

How many other tech companies do you know of that would send you free 
documentation on a 30-year-old product?
