I think it was in the "Andromedia Strain" that a teletype machine, 32 or 33, played a part.
It either got a paper jam, or was not being constantly monitored when some crucial bit of
info was sent to that 'super medical research facility'.  

And, I have a vague memory of a Teletype being involved in a few scenes of the movie,
"Fail Safe".  (Failsafe?)

Then, don't forget Jack Webb, William conrad, David Nelson and several others in the movie,
" -30- ".   -30-  was a commonly used 'end of story' sign in newspaper language.
