[GreenKeys] Telegraph...

The one I have is not in it's original box. It is probably post 1900 but,
I have all the paper tapes for it. It's an Instructograph.
Someone took the guts of an original instructograph and mated it with other
stuff. To put it back to original condition is going to be a very big
project. The wind up mechanism still works and the contacts are OK, but
need work. It's one of my projects that I have not finished yet. I can't
complain.......I bought the thing for 60 bucks and the paper tapes are
probably worth that.

I know where there is one in original condition at an antique store for
about 125 bucks. Downtown Wichita. But no paper tapes. He didn't know
what he had and sold me all the paper tapes with mine and didn't keep
any...........

I have enough equipment to put together about 7 stations. It's a mish mash
of equipment from many time periods. 1855-1955.

I am missing some big items like a central station switchboard. And the
littler switchboard. And some of the furniture. Only thing is, I would
end up donating it to a museum. In fact, Most of my stuff is going to a
little museum as I am beginning to run out of space.

So, like the Teletype stuff, I love old technology. My shop would scare
most people to death............

I have a little shop behind the house that I have all my equipment in. I
have a circuit that will only support about 40 amps of 240 Volts. SO, No
big transmitters..............I kinda want to keep it that way.

In the meantime, I am still looking for a TU that will do what I want. I
have plenty of time. My shop is in a complete mess right now. We have a
rescue dog living in the shop and making messes that I have to clean up all
the time. I'll post some scary pictures later.

Thanks guys for helping me.

Joe
