Subject: Re: [GreenKeys] eBay prices for 8-bit machines lately

Well, I have some input on this.

I have sold some 33's on ebay with the prices varying from $400 for the
nicest one I ever had, just like new, to the $3k one that some may remember.

I have also restored quite a few for various folks.

I have one commercial customer left, a mom and pop machine shop in
Sunapee, NH. In the 1980's I believe I had about 120 or so machines around
Vermont and NH. A few in NY, MA and CT as well.

The 33 market has been a life saver for me as my retirement income is not
quite enough to get by on.

Of course when I sell a 33 I usually put the new owner onto Greenkeys.

Greenkeys is a great group where we sell cheaply or give stuff away to
other members but I just wanted to put in my 2 cents worth on what the 33
market means to me.

Thanks to all on Greenkeys who help with parts, especially the plastic
ones, that make it possible to do the work I do.

73,

Wayne
