Fellow Baofeng'ers  Ralph  reminds me  about the cable...The  programming  
cable is a MUST!   with CHRIP program  you  can import  from another HT  and 
zap all the  freqs  to  the  5R ( or many other  brands.)
 
I also opted  for the hand  mike/speaker as I do not  need  4 watts into 
the right side of my  brain.
 
Thanks  for the heads  up  on the  FREQS   Ralph.
 
I think  I will buy  many of these and scatter them around the  house and 
museum  office  so I do not have to look  hard   for a radio. Whata  deal!

Anyone who wants one of these radios should get it soon.  At some  point, 
the FCC will realize that
it transmits 'all over' including FRS and GMRS frequencies, etc.  


I won one at a club meeting, and the guy who bought it at Dayton for  this 
purpose, also picked
up the programming cable which makes it a lot easier to use.


I got all of the accessories shown in the photos except for the white  
plastic, SainSonic device
and the mike/earpiece and cable.
