OR, they are proudly displayed in as-auathentic-as-possible recreations of aircraft radio installations.

You might be surprised at how much the people there know about these radios, and try hard to preserve them.

I adapted a 3-6 Mc receiver as a Novice project. Still have it.
The little tuning knob on the receiver is worth more than you would think. Don’t lose it.
Both those units look pretty much un-modified. Except for the switch , control and jack on the front of the receiver. but those changes are likely only to the little plug-in thing they are mounted on.
Best not apply normal voltages to these before they get attention - the receiver capacitors especially are likely leaky at this age and will cause trouble. Many hams ran much higher plate voltages on the transmitter. They had bad results. Don’t do that.
