Don't know how common they are now but were all over after WWII. Many are probably still hiding in the basements of older hams. Very popular as the basis for many a ham project. One popular use was as a VFO.
We would love to have you bring them to the meeting.
The December meeting of the Iowa City Amateur Radio Club will be held on Wednesday, December 11th at the Grant Wood Area Education Agency, 200 Holiday Road in Coralville.
