[GreenKeys] Spec for tubing to replace rubber on print hammer of M33

I am looking for the tubing to replace the rubber on the print hammer of my
Model 33.

 

I have seen it suggested that you need an ID of 5/16 and an OD of 7/16. How
precise does this have to be? I have found some with an ID of 5/16 and an OD
of 0.5", will that be OK?
