[GreenKeys] odd keytops on model 15,, why? See attached photo

I suppose what perplexed me (and what I failed to mention) is that only a few keys had the sprung key tops on them. The rest were unadulterated. Of course, there's no telling what happened to the typewriter before it came into my possession.
