Dave,

I would have to agree with Steve on this one, the results that your
Google searches are coming up with are the prime indicator that your
machine(s) are infected with a browser hijacker.

If it isn't a real bad one, running your anti-virus software in safe
mode "SHOULD" remove the offending malware.  If it is a bad one,
then I hate to say this but wiping and reloading is easier than
fighting with a possible root-kit, been there and done that. :(
