Hi Nico,

if you only want to produce tones, modulated by rs-232, try something with an 
XR 2206. Try to google something about DJ6HP and his RTTY-Book. I have the 
schematics somewhere, but I have to look. Where in Denmark are you and your 
museum located? I live in Kiel, not far from the Danish border. Maybe I can 
help somehow...
