Jason-

Interesting find in the KSR basement, there. kind looks like it might be
what George described. We did forget to look in the lower part of the
cabinet when we loaded the 28 into your car, not that it would have made any
difference... Hope you get that machine running, it looks promising.

I still have an extra Kleinschmidt page printer if anyone wants it. forgot
which model, similar to TT-98 but has the big cable and plug on the side for
the big K reperf when it's used in that table-top set. It's all there, but
it'll need lots of TLC.

Is that what this thing is? It was found inside the pedestal of the
"LESU-less" Model 28 I picked up from WB6AZP (thanks again John!) I haven't
yet had the opportunity to open it up and see whats inside.

You need a box commonly used in the days of yore called an "Idle

Line Motor Control". Pulse Com was one manufacturer that comes to

mind, but there were many otjhers.

It simply monitors a current loop for actiivity, and after sensing

none for a predetermined amount of time, shuts off power to the

machine.

As soon as it senses even the slightest keying on the loop, it turns

on the motor and keeps it running until the next idle period exceeds

the setting programmed into it, and poof, it shuts the motor off

again.

I have two or three of them around here somewhere, and it's almost a

certainty that collectors of "stuff" like Jack Hart or Don House

probably have some sequestered somewhere in their massive piles of

"Stuff".

I'll look around here today.
